What are the properties, pros and cons of viscose?

Definition: Viscose fiber is the full name of viscose fiber. It is further divided into viscose filament and viscose staple. Viscose fiber Viscose fiber - also known as rayon, ice silk. After 2000, a new high-end variety of viscose fiber called Tencel and bamboo fiber appeared. Viscose is a cellulose fiber produced from cotton or other natural fibers.
Performance: The moisture content of viscose fiber best meets the physiological requirements of human skin, and has the characteristics of smoothness, coolness, breathability, antistatic, and brilliant dyeing.
Disadvantages: easy to wrinkle, easy to shrink, easy to deform, easy to fade, poor elasticity
advantage:
1. Soft and comfortable: skin-friendly, non-irritating to the skin, in line with environmental protection and human health requirements;
2. Sweat absorption and good breathability: Absorb sweat and micro-perspiration on human skin, so that the body temperature quickly returns to normal, and the effect of breathability and sweat absorption is truly achieved.
3. No pilling and anti-static: due to the high moisture regain of cotton fiber, no static electricity and no pilling;
4. Warm and washable: good heat retention, very washable.
Classification: Viscose fiber is a regenerated cellulose fiber. It is made of natural cellulose as raw material, through alkalization, aging, sulfonation and other processes to make soluble cellulose sulfonate, and then dissolved in dilute lye to make viscose, which is made by wet spinning. Using different raw materials and spinning processes, ordinary viscose fiber, high wet modulus viscose fiber and high strength viscose fiber can be obtained respectively. Ordinary viscose fiber has general physical and mechanical properties and chemical properties, and is divided into cotton type, wool type and filament type, commonly known as rayon, artificial wool and rayon. High wet modulus viscose fibers have a high degree of polymerization, tenacity and wet modulus. This kind of fiber can bear a load of 22.0cN per tex per unit linear density in the wet state, and the wet elongation under this load does not exceed 15%, mainly rich and strong fibers. High-strength viscose fibers have high strength and fatigue resistance.
Viscose fiber can be divided into ordinary viscose fiber, high wet modulus viscose fiber, strong viscose fiber and modified viscose fiber. Among the high-strength viscose fibers, the filaments with dry strength exceeding 30.0cN/dtex are called high-strength yarns; those exceeding 38.0cN/dtex are called super-strength yarns; those exceeding 44.1cN/dtex are called super-strength yarns; those exceeding 48.5cN/dtex are called super-strength yarns; The super-strength wire is called three; the super-53.0cN/dtex is called the four super-strength wire. Among the high-performance viscose fibers, the fibers with higher elastic modulus in the wet state are called Polynosic fibers, also known as high wet modulus fibers, and are called strong-strength fibers in China, referred to as rich fibers. The wet modulus is between ordinary fibers and polynosic fibers, but fibers with higher collusion strength and less brittleness are called modified high wet modulus fibers.
Uses: Modified viscose fiber has various uses, such as viscose fiber compounded with polyacrylonitrile or polyvinyl alcohol has a hair-like feel and bulkiness, and is suitable for making suits, blankets and decorative fabrics. "Straw silk" (that is, flat silk) and hollow viscose fibers with flat shape and rough hand feel have low specific gravity, large covering capacity and bulking properties, and are suitable for weaving women's hats, handbags and various decorative utensils. Viscose fibers grafted with acrylic acid have high ion exchange capacity and can be used to recover precious metals such as gold, silver and mercury from waste liquids. Viscose fibers with various flame retardants are used in high temperature and fire protection industrial sectors. Viscose fibers can also be made into hemostatic fibers after treatment. The hollow viscose fibers can be used as artificial kidneys because of dialysis. The viscose filaments containing barium are suitable for medical sutures. In addition, carbon fibers and graphite fibers made of viscose fibers have high strength and high modulus, and composite materials such as epoxy resin can be used as ablation materials for space technology; blended by viscose and sodium silicate The raw filament of the ceramic fiber is treated as a reinforcing material of high temperature resistant phenolic resin, which can be used in liquid rocket engines, jet engine nozzles and heat shields of space reentry devices.
