What are the differences between hydrophilic non-woven fabrics and water-repellent non-woven fabrics?

When using non-woven fabrics, we all know that there are various types of non-woven fabrics, and different types of materials have certain differences in their uses. What is the difference between the two cloths?
1. One thing you need to know is that ordinary PP non-woven fabrics are water-repellent. And hydrophilic non-woven fabric from its literal meaning, good hydrophilic performance is a significant feature of it, it can absorb water, using this significant feature, we can use it to make some sanitary products.

2. Hydrophilic non-woven fabrics are based on ordinary non-woven fabrics, adding a hydrophilic agent in the production process, or adding a hydrophilic agent to the fibers in the process of fiber production, and then producing a fabric . Compared with ordinary non-woven fabrics, it has the function of hydrophilic agent. Why do we need to add a hydrophilic agent? Because fibers or non-woven fabrics are high-molecular polymers with few or no hydrophilic groups, they cannot achieve the hydrophilic properties required for non-woven applications. Add a hydrophilic agent.
Therefore, the difference between hydrophilic non-woven fabrics and ordinary non-woven fabrics lies in their hydrophilic properties. The former has good hydrophilic properties. When choosing non-woven fabrics, pay attention to the distinction, because different non-woven fabrics may have different uses.
